Continuing Education came into existence for adults who wished to further their education and growth as part-time students and was especially suited to students beyond the traditional age of a college student. Generally, the Continuing Education adult student already had an education and was wishing to further his or her education on a part-time basis. Continuing Education students ordinarily enrolled in non-credit-granting schools for personal enrichment through Continuing Education courses offered by small community colleges. ONA Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital (ONA Hillside) bargaining unit reached a tentative contract agreement with Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital (the Hospital) on July 16, 2008 and ratified it on July 18, 2008. The 3-year contract includes a 3% across the board pay increase each year of the agreement and provisions for additional paid time awarded to nurses for good attendance.

Madison Memorial Continues to Expand Birthing Program (KIFI Idaho Falls)

Madison Memorial Hospital is continuing to expand its birthing program.  For 10 years now the hospital has included Certified Nurse Midwives as part of their program.  Now with the addition of the new wing the hospital has added 12 post delivery rooms, and will be opening a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
